Explore the World Instead of Looking at the World Behind You for Guidance

Sometimes when we look for the guidebook on how to succeed in life, we look at what guidance our parents have to share. The problem with this is that they grew up in a different world. As said by Giuseppe Mazzini, "Slumber not in the tents of your fathers. The world is advancing." You need to stop looking for guidance and trust your own awareness and insight about what is possible. Look to your peers for information, because they are living in the same world as you are. Then you know yourself and what you are capable of better than anyone else. It is okay to fail and not know what to do - the adventure of life is figuring all of those things out.

"Slumber not in the tents of your fathers. The world is advancing."

~ Giuseppe Mazzini
