Strife Inspires

Obviously, this quote by Janusz Korczak not only applies to men, but to any person, but I like it because it touches on the complexity that a life full of meaning has: “The lives of great men are like legends - difficult but beautiful.” Clients of mine who often feel hopeless that their life will ever get better, because some new stressful thing always pops up, will often benefit from me reminding them that their lives may never be “easy” per say, but that is okay, perhaps their strife can carry meaning and beauty, inspiring those whose lives they’ve touched.
