The Journey Within

Life will at times throw you into a feeling or an understanding that shakes up your perspective. Like David Lynch had described within himself, "I learned that just beneath the surface there's another world, and still different worlds as you dig deeper. I knew it as a kid, but I couldn't find the proof. It was just a kind of feeling. There is goodness in blue skies and flowers, but another force - a wild pain and decay - also accompanies everything." Traumatic events, major life changes, and even just entering into therapy can show you that there is so much more to explore, both in the world around you, but also within you! We don’t always enjoy everything we see, but it is still worth the sight, because it gives us a new point of view and is almost an adventure. The journey within yourself is one that will never leave you bored.

"I learned that just beneath the surface there's another world, and still different worlds as you dig deeper. I knew it as a kid, but I couldn't find the proof. It was just a kind of feeling. There is goodness in blue skies and flowers, but another force - a wild pain and decay - also accompanies everything."
