Channel Distress into Action

This week has been filled with anxieties, angst, and genuine fears about the state of the world. I’ve seen it within myself, and it’s entered my therapy office several times. I’ll share some advice from Lee Iacocca that might be helpful: "In times of great stress or adversity, it's always best to keep busy, to plow your anger and your energy into something positive." It may not be desired to no longer be stressed about such things, because it might be part of one’s values to care about others and to want justice. So instead of aiming to not feel the distress, channel it, let it move you into action. Doing so naturally helps you feel more at ease.
