Every Experience is Worth Something

We often get disappointed when life doesn’t go the way that we had planned. If a job ends up to be not a good fit, if a person you were in love with doesn’t want a serious relationship, or if moving across the country leaves you no better off than before you moved, it leaves you wondering what the point was. However, Thomas Edison might have something to say on this: "Just because something doesn't do what you planned it to do doesn't mean it's useless." We learn from every experience. We better understand ourselves and what we want from life. We gain a new perspective, or a feeling we’d never have experienced otherwise. It all shapes our life, the depth of our lore, helping to make us well-rounded, and to prepare us to build the better future we want for ourselves.

"Just because something doesn't do what you planned it to do doesn't mean it's useless."

~ Thomas A. Edison
