Melting Cold Hearts

"Constant kindness can accomplish much. As the sun makes ice melt, kindness causes misunderstanding, mistrust, and hostility to evaporate." This quote by Albert Schweitzer is simple, but it gives a great visual for the power or kindness and compassion. The things that cause our relationships to grow apart are not easy to get over, because they hurt and cause serious damage. Eventually though, goodwill and understanding go a long way for mending those bridges.
